Hello darlings! This is EVERYTHING you need to know to commission me- please read everything before you note me!

FEES: OVERVIEW
Fee estimates are based on the overview of the project provided to-date, based on the existing commission rates that the Artist has set forth as of March 7th, 2015:

FEES: PORTRAITS/PINUPS/GENERAL ILLUSTRATION (Itemized Rates Below)
These rates apply to projects involving a static, single-scene illustration. All prices are in USD.

$20:     Single Figure
+$20:     Color (per figure)
+$20:     Simple Background (with or without color)
+$50:     Complex Background (with or without color)

Please Note: A commission involving a background on its own, with no figures, is considered a complex background for pricing purposes.

FEES: COMIC PAGES ($200 Per Page, BASE RATE)
This rate applies to projects involving graphic novels, comics, or any sort of sequential art.

The Client MUST provide their own script describing any actions and dialogue; services are for storyboarding, pacing/layout suggestions, and artwork. This is a BASE RATE fee, meaning that each comic project is considered on a project-by-project basis, and the final per-page estimate will be determined based on complexity as judged by the Artist. The BASE RATE is the minimum possible fee, per page.

FEES: 2.5" x 3.5" SKETCH CARD ($20 FLAT RATE)
These rates apply to projects involving a single 2.5" x 3.5" sketch/trading card, regardless of figures/color/background. This is due to the limited size of the card. This is a FLAT RATE, and will not change for a single project regardless of size/complexity.

FEES: DISCRETION/PRIVACY FEE ($10 FLAT RATE)
By NOT paying this fee, you are granting the Artist permission to repost this project/artwork for purposes of self-promotion, on any platform they see fit. This is a FLAT RATE, and will not change for a single project regardless of size/complexity.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
The total sum of fees is due in two installments:

First Installment: 50% of total fee, payable up-front. This will secure your project with the Artist, and allow them to schedule the timetable and begin work. THIS IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

Second Installment: 50% of total fee, payable upon approval of final draft. This fee is due when the Artist provides the final draft for approval. All revision/final drafts are provided at a smaller size than the final format, and are provided with a watermark. Upon confirmation of fee receipt by the Artist, the Client will be provided the unaltered original piece at its original size, with no watermarks.

PROJECT EXPECTATIONS:
The Artist will provide two (2) rounds of revisions. The Client will get to see a rough sketch, linework, and colors if applicable. Changes can be made within these revision rounds. Please note that revisions are minor changes, such as figure placement, clothing details, and other facets of the artwork that will not significantly change what has already been created.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The Artist reserves the right to modify this estimate based on the details that are revealed during the requirement-gathering process, before initial project acceptance, if the scope of the project changes significantly. The Artist will not allow significant changes during the course of an already-accepted project.

This estimate is valid for 30 days from today. If the estimate is not approved within 30 days, this project will be considered closed, and a new estimate will be required.

The Artist does NOT establish due dates or turnaround times until all project requirements have been gathered and the project has been approved by the Client and accepted by the Artist.

If the Client does not respond to a draft approval or final approval within seven (7) days, the Artist will consider the project closed, and will send notification of final payment due before delivering the final product.
